Wanda Y. Crooks, 92 of Mt. Carmel, IL died Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel, IL. During the war she worked at an Evansville war effort plant. She worked as a seamstress at the Apparel Factory in Mt. Carmel, IL. She was a member of Lick Prairie Christian Church and later attended Parkview Christian Church in Mt. Carmel, IL. She also was a member of the Moose Auxiliary, Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary in Albion.
Survivors include a son Larry and wife Brenna Crooks of Mt. Carmel, IL, 2 brothers; Malcolm Reeves of Mt. Carmel, IL, Rolla (Alma) Wood of Terre Haute, IN, 1 grandson; Travis (Janene) Crooks of Mt. Carmel, IL, 1 great-granddaughter; Maysa, 3 step-great-granddaughters; Emma, Beth and Grayson and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Wanda Y. Crooks will be held Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 2:00pm at Graceland Cemetery in Albion, IL.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, IL.
