Local artist E. “Sue” Legg, 69 of Fairfield died Monday, August 10 at 11:30 AM at Way-Fair Nursing and Rehab Center. Sue was a very active artist all her life. Prior to becoming disabled and moving to Fairfield, Sue lived many years in Southern Michigan where she worked as the head of billing at Michigan Power and Lights.
Sue is survived by a daughter, Ginger Rumsey of Fairfield, 2 sons, Gary (Beth) Kirkpatrick of Suwanee, GA and Rusty Kirkpatrick of LaGrange, IN, as well as by a brother, Terry (Carolyn) Legg of Fairfield, and a sister Kathy (James) Rayburn of Fairfield. She also had 5 grandchildren: Derek McCoy, EJ and Aly Kirkpatrick, and Aiden and Gaven Kirkpatrick.
Services for Sue Legg will be 2 p.m. Thursday, August 13 at the Community of Christ Church in Fairfield with burial in Victory Cemetery west of Fairfield.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until the time of service at the church.
Memorials may be made to the family to assist with the funeral expenses. Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
