Phyllis Greifzu, 80 of Fairfield died at 8:12 AM, Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Way-Fair Nursing Home in Fairfield. She had worked at the Farmer’s Store and had been a teller at People National Bank for over 20 years. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Fairfield.
Phyllis is survived by sons Wayne Greifzu of Fairfield and Dean (Lesia) Greifzu of Fairfield, daughters June (Jeff) Lavine of Olney, Mae (Steve) Miller of Effingham, and Susan (Fred) Miller of Taylorville, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral services for Phyllis Greifzu will be held at 12 PM, Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, with burial in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery south of Fairfield.
A visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7 PM at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
