Betty Mae Gilpin Smith, 58 of Carmi died on Saturday afternoon November 28 at Healthsouth in Evansville, IN. She had worked at the Carmi McDonalds and Walmart.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Tim; her mother, Mildred Dalton of Evansville, IN; her sisters, Barb (Joe) Sweet of Marion, Mary (Kenny) Johnson of Wadesville, IN, brothers, Bill (Diana) Gilpin, Steve (Delite) Gilpin, Tommy Gilpin all of Carmi; and Johnny (Virginia) Gilpin of Rossville; many nieces and nephews with Kristy being her favorite, and best friend, Angie Blaizer; mother-in-law, Donna Smith of Carmi; in-laws, Judy (Dave) Nelson of Chicago and Stevie (Carla) Smith of Carmi.
Funeral services for Betty Mae Gilpin Smith will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday December 2, 2015 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi.
Memorials are suggested to the family to help defray funeral costs.
