John Wesley Fitzgerald Jr., 81 of Fairfield died at 7:50 AM, Saturday, November 28, at Way-Fair Nursing Home. A veteran of the US Army serving in Korea, he had worked for the City of Fairfield.
Survivors include his wife Mary (Naney) Fitzgerald of Fairfield, a daughter Cherlyn Zelma Hill of Utah, a grandchild Nico Hill, a sister Pansy Markham of Fairfield, and brothers Charles Fitzgerald of Fairfield and Harry Fitzgerald of Shelbyville, IL.
Funeral services for John Fitzgerald will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Koontz Cemetery with military rites at the grave site.
Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to help with funeral expenses.
