77-year-old Carroll Gene Horn, of Mt. Vernon and formerly of Fairfield, died Friday morning at the Mt. Vernon Healthcare Center. Carroll had worked at Airtex for 32 years.
Carroll is survived by his wife Lou of Mt. Vernon, 2 sons Bradley Horn of Albion and James Horn of Mt. Vernon. Four sisters, Betty Dugan, Paulette Sweat both of Albion, Patricia Lawhon and Ruby Clevenger both of Fairfield. One brother Donald Horn of West Frankfort, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren also survive.
Graveside services for Carroll Gene Horn will be held Monday at 11 am at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery south of Fairfield, Friends may call Monday from 10 am till the time of the service at the Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield.
