90-year-old West Salem resident, Wilbur G. Keener died at 6:10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11 at Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. He was retired from the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Keener of West Salem; two sons, Michael (Donna) Keener and Patrick (Donna) Keener of West Salem; a brother, Gary Keener of Danville, IL; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Wilbur G. Keener will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16 at Zion United Methodist Church in West Salem with burial in Graceland Cemetery at Albion with full military honors at the graveside.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16 until the time of service at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Zion United Methodist Church Building Fund and will be accepted at the church or Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion, which is in charge of all the arrangements.
