John Eric Thomson, 44, of Newburgh, Indiana died at 4:55 am, Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Deaconess Charlier VNA Hospice. He was a 1989 graduate of North High School and continued on to ITT where he graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Electronic Technology. He was a professional musician and most recently played with Kraftworks and Jason Lee McKinney bands. He was part of the Christian Fellowship Church Worship Team and was part of the England Mission Trip.
He is survived by his mother Wanda Thomson, his wife, Bridget (Glover) Thomson, children Bailey and Lily Thomson; sister Janet Cox (Randy) of Harvest, AL; brothers Danny Thomson (Anne) of Fort Collins, CO and James Thomson of Evansville; nieces and nephews Matthew Cox (Amanda) of Montgomery, AL, Nicole and Brian Thomson of Fort Collins, CO and great-nephews Grayson and Jonathon Cox of Montgomery, AL.
Funeral Services for John Eric Thomson will be held at 10 am, Friday, January 29, 2016 at Christian Fellowship Church, 4100 Millersburg Rd, Evansville, with burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3 pm until 7 pm, Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Christian Fellowship Church and again at the church on Friday from 9 am until time of service.
