82-year-old Fairfield resident, Maxine Buchanan died at 6:35 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8. A member of the Bailey Arrington Prairie Church, she had been a 4-H leader and was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, David Buchanan and wife Gale of Fairfield; daughters, Linda and husband Donnie Miller of Wayne City, Janice and Husband John Jones, Jr. of Fairfield and Bob and wife Ruby Kittle of Wayne City; a sister-in-law, Bernita Roach of Blunt, S.D.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Maxine Buchanan will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Archie L. Sanders Chapel at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City with burial in Thomason Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 – 8 Friday evening, Feb. 12 at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City.
Memorials may be made to the Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City and will be accepted at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City.
