82-year-old Fairfield resident, Henry Nixon died at 3:45 p.m. Friday, April 22 at Wayfair Nursing Home in Fairfield. He had worked for Independent Oil Well Servicing.
Survivors include a son, William Ray and wife Lisa Nixon of Olney; two sisters, Emma Jean Lamp of Mt. Vernon and Virginia Maxine Nixon of E. St. Louis; two brothers, Willis Gene Nixon of Fairfield and Harold and wife Darlene Nixon of Mt. Vernon; two grandchildren, Vanessa and Ariana Nixon and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service for Henry Nixon will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 8 at the New Beginnings Church in Fairfield with burial at a later date.
Visitation will be 12 noon until the time of service at the church.
Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield is in charge of all the arrangements.
