77-year-old former Wayne City resident, Florence Joann Trotter of Peoria, IL died Saturday, April 23 at Unity Point Prospect Hospital in Peoria. She retired from Sears in December of 2002.
Survivors include a daughter, Pamela J. Trotter of Peoria; a daughter-in-law, Cathy A. Trotter of Pekin, IL; a granddaughter, Catherine J. Trotter of Pekin; a grandson, Eric Black of Peoria; two brothers, Berlyn and wife Jane Buchanan of Bridgeport, IL and Verl and wife Deb Buchanan of Bettendorf, IA; two sisters-in-law, Peggy Buchanan and Geri Buchanan; a brother-in-law, Dwight Withrow; best friend, Sharon McGarr and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Florence Joann Trotter will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30 at the Church of God in Bluford.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30 until the time of service at the Church of God in Bluford.
Memorials may be made to the Bluford Church of God and will be accepted at the church or the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City, which is in charge of all the arrangements.
