Veda Naomi Clevenger, 89, of Fairfield passed away Saturday April 30th at 6:30AM at her home. She was born on January 27, 1927 in Barnhill, Il to Reverend J.W. & Mary (Vaughn) Reed. Naomi married the late Tice Clevenger on June 21st 1947, he preceded her in death on December 27, 2008. She had retired from Champion Laboratories where she had worked for over 20 years.
Naomi is survived by one son Kent (Cathy) Clevenger of Barnhill. One Daughter Rhanda Clevenger Waldrop of Fairfield. Two Sisters-Eva Borah & Agnes Michael both of Fairfield. Two Sisters-in-law-Donna Turner of Fairfield, and Virginia Taylor of Pine Village, Indiana. Six Grandchildren-Brandon Clevenger of Fairfield, Jeremy (Chrissy) Waldrop of Fairfield, Jessica (Ryan) Compton of Albion, Julie (Fiancee Robert Thomas) of Fairfield, Jennifer Smith of Louisville IL and Joe Brown of Fairfield. 15 Great-Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother and 1 sister.
Funeral Services for Naomi Clevenger will be at 1PM Thursday May 5th at Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11AM until the time of Service on Thursday May 5th. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to SSM Hospice.
