95-year-old former Enterprise area resident, Lela Mae Mulherin of Mojave, CA died on Sunday May 1at her residence in Mojave. Lela Mae worked as the Director of the EKG Department at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She is a World War II Veteran having worked for the Surgeon General’s Office in Fort Dix, New Jersey, New Guinea and Manila. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Maryland Heights, MO, VFW Auxiliary and American Legion.
Survivors include two sisters Muriel Bowlin of Flat Rock, NC and Herbie Torrey of Mojave, CA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Lela Mae Mulherin will be 10:30AM Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Enterprise Methodist Church with burial will be in Cisne Cemetery. There will be a military service at the cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to American Lung Association and will be accepted at the church or the Hosselton Funeral Home of Cisne, which is in charge of all the arrangements.
