Galen “Clyde” Williamson

WilliamsonClyde Obit PhotoGalen “Clyde” Williamson, age 68, of Albion died at 9:20 a.m. on May 10, 2016 in Newburgh, Indiana. He was stationed in Japan during the Vietnam War. He was a factory worker, and worked at Champion Labs for over 36 years. He was currently employed by B & D Independence Company of Mt. Carmel.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia “Jenny” Gillard Johnson; a step-son, Gregory (Renae) Johnson of Tomball, Texas; a step-daughter, Melanie Johnson, of Sebastian, Florida; a brother, Garry Williamson of Warrenburg, Illinois; and four step-grandchildren: Britney, Courtney, Lindsey, and Gregory.

Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded. A Celebration of Life for all friends and family will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church on Market Street in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. Graveside services will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Albion at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Carmel.
