91-year-old Pittsburg, Ill. resident, Carroll E. “Bud” Tait died at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 23 at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Browns Chapel Church near Grayville.
Survivors include his wife Leola Paralee Tait of Pittsburg; a son, Lonnie D. and wife Annette Tait of Pittsburg; a daughter, Carol L. and husband Bob Harris of Carthage, Mo.; a sister, Mona Over of Pekin, Ill.; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Bud Tait will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 27 at Browns Chapel Church near Grayville with inurnment of ashes at Mount Zion Cemetery at a later date.
The Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home of Marion, Ill. is in charge of all of the arrangements.
