Norma Edmison, Wayne City

Norma%20Edmison%20photo93-year-old Wayne City resident, Norma Edmison died at 3:32 p.m. Friday, July 15 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.  She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm.

Survivors include a son, Noel and wife Cheryl Edmison of Wayne City; three daughters, Carolyn and husband Harold Thomason of Wayne City, Donna and husband Louis Peck of Wayne City and Dixie and husband Ray Hurley of Wayne City; a brother-in-law, Donald Edmison of Opdyke, Ill; ten grandchildren, Kevin and wife Penny Shreve, Kerry and wife Ellen Shreve, Kris and wife Becky Shreve, Rodney and wife Terri Peck, Pamela and husband Roger Neff, Michelle and husband Chris Simpson, Darren and wife Kori Hurley, Jodi and husband Darren Greenwalt, Jill and husband Dan McNeil and Chad and wife Lindsey Edmison; 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren .

Funeral services for Norma Edmison will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 19 at the Keenes Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Thomason Cemetery at Wayne City.

Visitation will be 5 – 8 Monday evening, July 18 at the Keenes Missionary Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to the Keenes Missionary Baptist Church and will be accepted at the church or Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield, which is in charge of all the arrangements.
