Dawson Wayne Dustin ParmleyDawson Wayne Dustin Parmley, age 17, a resident of McLeansboro, IL passed away at 2:15 pm on Friday, July 22nd, 2016.

Dawson was a student at the Hamilton County Unit #10 High School in McLeansboro. He was on the Fox Fire trap shooting team, and he played football. He enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, seeing antique cars and trucks, and he was an antique picker and collector. He cherished the time he spent with his family & friends.

He is survived by both parents Dustin Preston Richard Parmley and Jacqueline Wayne (Staggs) Parmley; a sister Calissa Mae Taylor Parmley; paternal grandparents Richard & Vicki Parmley of McLeansboro and Susan & Kevin Tripp of McLeansboro; maternal grandmother Willie Mae (husband Frank) DeBose of McLeansboro; aunt Crystal & uncle Gerald Skelton of McLeansboro, aunt Mel-Mel & uncle Greg DeBose of McLeansboro, aunt Shanna Parmley of McLeansboro, and uncle Mike Huckabay of McLeansboro; and several cousins including “best Cuz” Kyleigh Huckabay.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Millard Wayne Staggs, maternal great grandparents Bob & Dorothy Preston, and paternal great grandparents Dwight & Goldie Parmley.

Funeral services for Dawson Wayne Dustin Parmley will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 26th, 2016 at the Christian Chapel Church north of McLeansboro with Pastor Jacob Gray officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, July 25th at the Christian Chapel Church.

Burial will be at the family’s farm.

The Gholson Funeral Home of McLeansboro is in charge of the arrangements.
