Thomas F. Hawkins, Albion

76-year-old Albion resident, Thomas F. Hawkins died at 7:02 p.m. Monday, July 25 at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel. He worked in mechanical maintenance for Duke Energy. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was also a member of the First Baptist Church, American Legion, Edwards County Sportsman’s Club, VFW Honor Guard, National Wild Turkey Federation and Disaster Relief.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Bliss Hawkins of Albion; a son, Andy Hawkins of Albion; two daughters, Amy and husband Eugene Barnett of Evansville, Ind. and Cara and husband Ermil Wilhite of Lynnville, Ind.; a brother, Dick and wife Anita Hawkins of Brownsburg; two sisters, Margaret Survance of Robinson and Lois and husband Harry Eckelberry of Fairfield and five grandchildren.

Funeral services for Thomas F. Hawkins will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 30 at the First Baptist Church in Albion with burial in Graceland Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 – 8 Friday evening, July 29 at the First Baptist Church in Albion.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Disaster Relief program and will be accepted at the church or Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion, which is in charge of all the arrangements.
