81-year-old Inez Hilliard of Fairfield, formerly of Cisne, died on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital Skilled Care Unit. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Antioch General Baptist Church. Inez had previously written the Antioch and New Hope news for the Wayne County Press. She had also written numerous skits and Christmas plays for various churches.
Along with her husband of 60 years, Donne Hillard, she is survived by 3 sons Jim(Vickie) Hilliard of Shepardsville, KY, Randy (Trish) Hilliard of Cisne, and Greg (Crystal) Hilliard of Mt Vernon IL, 7 Grandchildren Josh Hilliard and Jonathon (Natalie)Hilliard both of Cisne, Jordan Hilliard of Hazelwood, MO, Cassandra Baltzell of Mt Vernon, IL, Brock Baltzell of Belleville IL, Charli Hilliard and Keoka Hilliard both of Shepardsville, KY, One Great Grandchild Preslee Nicole Moore of Shepardsville, KY, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Inez Hilliard will be on Wednesday, August 17 at 11am at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in the Cisne Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday night from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the Fairfield Memorial Hospital Comfort Care Room and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of all of the arrangements.
