75-year-old Geff resident, Randall J. Buchanan, died at 3:13am Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Deaconess-Gateway in Newburgh, IN. He had been a truck driver and general laborer for Grainergy Farms in Geff, IL and had also been a tool pusher in the oil field for many years.
His survivors include his wife Melinda, 2 sons Randy Buchanan of Bridgeport, IL and Rick Buchanan of Fairfield, 2 daughters, Karen Tullis of Fairfield, and Alexis McGee (Kenneth Berger) of Evansville, IN, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Melvin Buchanan of Fairfield, and 2 sisters Maxine Buchanan and Alene Buchanan. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son John Buchanan, and 3 brothers.
Services for Randall Buchanan will be at 2pm Wednesday, August 31, at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Bestow Cemetery in Geff.
Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Tuesday evening at the funeral home with a Masonic service at 7pm. Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of all of the arrangements.
