Jack McClintock, 83, of Thompsonville, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 10:51 p.m. in the V.A. Community Living Center in Marion. He was a member of the American Legion of Thompsonville and the Akin Masonic Lodge of Thompsonville. He served in the United States Army during Korea.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy McClintock of Thompsonville; 3 step children, Karen (Larry) Zimmerman of Fairfield, Rick (Mona) Elliott of Olney and Kaylene (Russell) Scott of Fairfield; 5 step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren; brother, John (Phyllis) McClintock of Hendersonville, TN. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Jack McClintock will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort with burial will be in the East Fork Cemetery in West Frankfort with Military Rites by the American Legion Post 1961 of Orient, VFW Post 5764 of West Frankfort, Zeigler Post 177 and the Honor Guard of Marion.
Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Masonic Rites will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home by the Akin Masonic Lodge of Thompsonville.
