William (Bill) Russell Jr. age 79, of Broughton, Illinois passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at his home. He was a veteran of U.S. Coast Guard where he retired as a Chief.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Kay (Wilmore) Russell; one son, Robert (Bobby) Raudenbush (wife Amber) of Broughton; a daughter, Jenny Pruitt (husband Adam) of Broughton; two grandchildren, William Joseph (Billy) Pruitt and Sean Michael Pruitt of Broughton; two brothers, Terry Russell of Roselle, Illinois and Jimmy Russell of Marengo, Illinois and one sister, Donna Russell of Carol Stream, Illinois.
Funeral services for William (Bill) Russell, Jr. will be 1 p.m. Saturday, October 8 at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service. Full military rites will be conducted by the McLeansboro American Legion Post 106.
