Arthur Robert Webber – Dahlgren

webber81-year-old Dahlgren resident, Arthur Robert Webber died at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15 at his home.  A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served as a District 19 Illinois State Police Trooper for 25 years.  During his military service, he was stationed in Germany.  He was a member of the Freedom Missionary Baptist Church in McLeansboro.

Survivors include his wife “Tina” Webber of Dahlgren; a son, Michael Webber of Dahlgren; a daughter, Kim Brown and husband Robert of Mt. Vernon; a step-son, Mike Plasters and wife Lori of Collinsville; grandsons, Zachary and Jake Jines, Blake Brown and Justin Plasters; two brothers, Ronnie Webber and wife Louise of Mt. Vernon and Bill Webber and wife Mary of Dahlgren; three sisters, Marilyn Smith of Woodstock, GA, Wilma Cross and husband “P.E.” of Dahlgren and Nancy Herzing and husband Jim of Woodlawn, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Arthur Robert Webber will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Harre Funeral Home in Dahlgren with burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Dahlgren with military rites performed by the American Legion Post 106 and a Military Honor Team from Marion, IL.

Visitation will be 6 – 8 Friday evening, Nov. 18 at the Harre Funeral Home in Dahlgren.

Memorials may be made to the Freedom Missionary Baptist Church in McLeansboro and will be accepted at the Harre Funeral Home in Dahlgren.
