Harold Brent, 96, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016, at Wabash General Hospital. He was a U.S. Army veteran ofo WW II. Harold worked at Allendale Sand and Gravel as a truck driver. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
Survivors include daughters Nanette Hodgson of Mt. Carmel and Anne and her husband Pete Anderson of McLeansboro, Illinois; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and, eight great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery, 1827 College Drive, Mt. Carmel, Illinois.
Visitation will take place Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Short Funeral Home, 527 N Mulberry Street, Mt. Carmel, Illinois.
The Short-Cunningham Funeral Home is in charge of all of the arrangements.
