Jerry E. Overbey, 75, a resident of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and formerly of Belle Rive passed away December 4, 2016 at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He was a retired Mechanic.
Survivors include a daughter; Carrie Overbey Cassidy of Belle Rive, Illinois, and two grandchildren; Joseph Overbey of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Brittany Cassidy of Mt Vernon, Illinois.
The body will be cremated and a memorial service for Jerry E. Overbey will be held at a later date under the direction of Gholson Funeral Home of Dahlgren.
