94 year-old Helen Marie Bond of McLeansboro, passed away at 5:24 a.m. Monday, December 26 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. She was a cook at McLeansboro High School until her retirement, and was a member of the Blooming Grove Baptist Church. She also loved sewing baby quilts for donation to St. Jude’s.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Helen M. Bond will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro, with the Rev. Steve Shoultz officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Harre Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital and will be accepted at the Harre Funeral Home.
