91-year-old Henderson, Ky. resident, Helen Valeda Hortin died at 5:35 a.m. Saturday, January 28 in Henderson, Ky. A member of the First United Methodist Church, she had been a medical assistant.
Survivors include a son, Kent and wife Janet Hortin of Henderson, Ky.; a step-daughter, Brenda and husband Dwight Koester of Bloomington, Ind.; a brother, Brian and wife Lauren Hortin; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Helen Valeda Hortin will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 31 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion with burial in Highland Memorial Cemetery at Mount Carmel.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31 until the time of service at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Albion and will be accepted at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion.
