90-year-old former Browns resident, Marguerite E. Rude died at 6:55 a.m. Monday, January 30 at Cisne Rehab and Health Care Center in Cisne. She had been Executive Director of the Edwards County USDA office, retiring after 30 ½ years. She was a member of the Browns Christian Church and Browns Home Extension.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte and husband Ray Barclay of Riverton, Ill. and Donna and husband Mike Dinsmore of Fairfield; a brother, William E. Newport of Biloxi, Miss.; five grandchildren, Tami and husband Tim Jackson of Sullivan, Mo., Scott and wife Sheri Shriver of Riverton, Ill., Lori and husband Roger Noe of Wayne City, Matthew and wife Cristen Dinsmore of Flora and Heather and husband Ben Owen of Fairfield and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Marguerite E. Rude will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion with burial in West Village Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4 until the time of service at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion.
Memorials may be made to the Browns Christian Church or the American Heart Association and will be accepted at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion.
