89-year-old Johnsonville resident, Bernard M. Talbert died at 7:27am Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Cisne Rehab and Health Care Center. Bernard was a farmer, Road Commissioner for Indian Prairie Township for twenty-nine years, and formerly worked at Valley Steel and Roadmaster. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII.
Bernard is survived by one daughter Paula (Leroy) Thompson of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; three sons Allen Talbert of Barnhill, Illinois; Faron (Joan) Talbert and Mark (Melissa) Talbert both of Cisne, Illinois. Twelve grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren also survive.
A Celebration of Life service for Bernard M.Talbert will be 2:00PM Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne with burial wil in Harrell Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of service on Saturday at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.
Memorials may be given to the Cisne Rehab & Health Care Activity Fund and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.
