70 year-old Minnie Lou (Lemke) Butler of Smyrna, Tennessee and formerly of Dahlgren died Friday, February 17 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She attended World Outreach Church for many years and was a former employee of the State of Illinois and the Dahlgren Grade School in Dahlgren and locally she was in Accounting & Tax Services for Blankenship CPA Group and Bill Reeder & Associates.
She is survived by her husband, James Allen of Smyrna; a son: Todd (Vicki) Butler of Evansville, IN; grandchildren: Logan, Reagan and Brock Butler; one step-son: Jimmie Allen of Murfreesboro; step-granddaughter: Jamie Allen; a sister: Marie (Jerry) Barr and brother, Everett (Diana) Lemke of Dahlgren, IL; a special cousin: Linda Hammersley of McLeansboro, IL; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 22 at the Harre Funeral Home of Dahlgren with burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Dahlgren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., February 21 at the Harre Funeral Home of Dahlgren.
