Connie Sue Butler, 66, of Cowling, Illinois, died Friday, February 24, at her home. Connie was an active member of the Cowling Free Methodist Church and she was an avid supporter of the Cowling Community Center. Among her interests were flower arranging, shopping and cooking Sunday dinners for her friends and family.
Survivors include her mother Marie Trusty of Cowling; son Aaron (Jennifer) Butler of St. Louis, Missouri; daughter Leslie (John) Novak of Ashley, Illinois; brother Billy Ray (Shannon) Trusty; sister Patti (Steve) Funkhouser, all of Cowling; grandchildren K’Lee Novak, Drew Novak, Dylan Speir, Jacob (Caitlinn) Speir, MaKayla Speir, Addison Butler, Graham Butler; great grandchildren Paislee Novak and Rexton Novak Jones.
Visitation for Connie Sue Butler will be from 5-8 pm, Monday, February 27, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville. Funeral is at 10 am, Tuesday, Feb 28, at Cook Funeral Chapel with burial in Antioch Cemetery near Cowling.
Memorials may be made to the Cowling Free Methodist Church and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel.
