Harold L. Barnard 89, died at 4:20 PM, Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Countryside Manor in Mt. Vernon, IL. Born in Geff, IL on April 14, 1927 to Rosco and Clara Barnard, Harold was a successful livestock farmer and owner of Barnard Trailer Sales. He was married to the late Betty Lou Barnard.
Surviving are 4 children, Kathy (Jack) Webb of Albion, Cheryl (Greg) Richardson of Cisne, Melany (Carl) Sawyer of Fairfield, Todd (Linda) Barnard of Cisne, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Private family services will be conducted by Rev. Mike Buckman at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, with burial in Branch Cemetery, Geff, IL.
