Leonard Barger 84 of Enfield, passed away Monday morning March 13, 2017 at the Enfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Leonard worked as a Tool and Die Maker at Airtex for 27 years. He operated J & L Tool Company in Enfield for 15 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Ashland Christian Church.
He is survived by his brothers, John (Stephanie) Barger, Robert (Judy) Barger, James (Billie) Barger and Ron and Sharon Barger; sisters, Reva (Carroll) Dozier, and Sherri (Ray) Harrison. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Leonard Barger will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday March 16, 2017 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield with burial in Hammack Cemetery at Springerton with graveside military rites by the Carmi American Legion and V.F.W.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Ashland Christian Church, Enfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center or the donor’s choice.
