76-year-old Fairfield resident, Charles M. Foster, died at 9:42pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was a veteran of the United States Army and had been an electrician for General Motors.
Survivors include one son, Steve (Chasity) Mielke of Sims, IL, two daughters Danielle (Mark) Andrist and Merranda (Lucas) Desch of Fairfield, four grandchildren Charles Wheeler, Nova Wheeler, Justyn Andrist, and Taylor Crowell, two great-grandchildren Kynlee Desch and Rylee Crowell. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother, Kenneth Foster.
Services for Charles Foster will be a 10am Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery with full military rites.
Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of all of the arrangements.
