Darrell G. Nelson, 59 of Springerton, passed away Sunday morning November 12, 2017 at Carmi Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carmi. Darrell worked for over 20 years at Continental Grain and Barge in Enfield. He was a member of the Springerton, Sons of the Legion.
He is survived by his son, Nicholas (Amanda) Nelson of Mill Shoals, daughters, Mary Nelson of Carmi, Tamira Nelson of Norris City and Terah (Jeremiah) Baker of Norris City; grandchildren, Brandalyn, Brodie, Jayni, Gemma and Gunner Nelson, Ryder, Colby, Maddie Baker and Marley Jo McKinnis; brothers, Clayton (Barb) Nelson of Carmi, Steve Nelson of Springerton and Carroll Nelson of Siloam Springs, AR.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday November 15, 2017 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield with Rev. Bud Sefried officiating. Burial will be in Kitty Sweetin Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday November 14, 2017 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield.
