92-year-old Dahlgren resident, Madonna Brake died at 7:38 a.m. Sunday, January 14 at McLeansboro Rehabilitation and Health Center in McLeansboro. A homemaker, she was a lifetime member of the Middle Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Chester Brake of Dahlgren; a son, David Brake and wife Donna of Dahlgren; four grandchildren, Benjamin Brake and wife Jana of Dahlgren, Timothy Brake and wife Sarah of Dahlgren, Steve Jamerson and wife Sally of Urbana and Greg Jamerson and wife Julie of Effingham; 7 grandchildren, Kolby, Kaylie, Caleb, Sadie, Kelsey, Hayley and Ashley; one great-grandchild, Bobby; two sisters, Mae Todd of Mt. Grove, MO and Bonnie Voliva of Pocahontis, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Madonna Brake will be 12 noon Tuesday, January 16 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial at Middle Creek Cemetery near Dahlgren.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday, Jan. 16 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
Memorials may be made to the Middle Creek Cemetery Fund and will be accepted at the Harre Funeral Home in Dahlgren.
