58-year-old Cisne resident, Jimmie Duane “JD” Rodgers died on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at his home after a long battle with lung cancer.
JD was born on August 1, 1959 to Russel and Betty Jane (Conard) Rodgers in Williston, North Dakota. He had worked as a truck driver in the family business and was a member of the Masonic Lodge 206 and a Shriner with the Ainad Temple, member of the Coon Creek Ridge Riders, and member of the Moose Lodge 1384.
JD is survived by his parents, Russel and Betty; two sons, Eliott (Corinne) Rodgers of Cisne, and Rusty Rodgers of Cisne; one grand-child on the way; one brother, Rick Rodgers of Cisne and niece, Kayla Withrow of Brazil, Indiana.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018, at 2:00pm at the Cisne Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Dr. Dennis Scraton Cancer Memorial Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
