Jacqueline (Grein) Eddy – McLeansboro

81-year-old McLeansboro resident, Jacqueline (Grein) Eddy died at 11 p.m. Tuesday, April 10 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.  A member of St. Clement’s Catholic Church in McLeansboro, she was the owner of Jackie’s Day Care. She was also a member of the Belleville Diocese Pre-Cana Group, operated a child care facility for 32 years and had worked at the Elder Manufacturing Company in McLeansboro for several years.

Survivors include a son, Mike Grein and wife Carrie of Kingman, AZ; four daughters, Anita Wyant of Thompsonville, IL, Becky Sheckles and husband Dwain of Carmi, Cathy Mitchell and husband Chris of Enfield and Laura Zachman and husband Frank of Dahlgren; two sisters, Pat Clapper of Downey, CA and Margie Richel of Lafayette, IN; a brother, Henry (Bud) Linderer, Jr. and wife Janet of St. Genevieve, MO ; a sister-in-law, Joyce Linderer of St. Genevieve, MO; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one “Honorary Special Daughter”, Tasha (Younglove) Thoma.

Funeral services for Jacqueline (Grein) Eddy will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 14 at St. Clement’s Catholic Church in McLeansboro with burial in St. Clement’s Cemetery in McLeansboro.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 Friday evening, April 13 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with a Rosary service at 7 p.m.
