Perry Verdane Borah, 82, of Mt. Vernon, IL died at 7:46pm on Friday, April 13, 2018 at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL. He had been a truck driver for many years and after his retirement, he drove a school bus for the Mt. Vernon school system for 10 years.
Survivors include two sons Bruce and Leslie Borah both of Mt. Vernon, IL, one daughter Deborah (Dean Simpson) Borah of Mt. Vernon, 5 grandchildren, Alex, Adam, Perry Pierce and Emily Borah, one brother Carroll (Jean) Borah of Mt Vernon, and one sister Wilma Clinger of Stoutsville, Ohio.
Funeral services for Perry Borah will be at 1pm on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home. The Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
