Shaun Dunn – Atlanta, Georgia,

 

Shaun Dunn, 40, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away Thursday morning April 19th 2018 at his home.

Shaun was born September 25, 1977 in Fairfield, Illinois. He was a self-employed business owner of an automotive leather and upholstery repair and renovation service, Done Right.  He was active in the East Atlanta music scene, playing in several bands including WSV and Red Phantoms.  Shaun also enthusiastically performed in the Atlanta October Haunts with Chambers of Horrors and Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse.

Shaun will live in the hearts of those who knew him. He loved completely and unconditionally, family and friend alike. His joy of life and sense of humor showed in how he lived and shared his life. He was a loving partner and father figure, an awesome son, brother, grandson, and uncle. Although he no longer walks by our sides, he will forever live in our hearts.

Shaun is survived by his partner Donna Mallicote, children Sydney and Aaron, and  Donna’s mother, Joyce Collier, all of Acworth, GA; mother Jacque Wade of Fairfield, IL; father and step-mother Richard and Penny Dunn of Xenia, IL; step-mother Vicki Farley of Mt. Vernon, IL; sisters Carissa Lawson, Elisha Bowling, JoAnna Allen, Stephanie Caudle, Mandrea Burks, Bridgett Caudle and Laura Steury; brothers Carl Dunn and Will Burks; grandparents Ray and Faye Farris, Bill and Ruth Venters, Lucille Eckelberry, Clyde Decker; great grandmother Avis Decker and multiple nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Lou Ann Jenkins, and grandparents Carl and Leona Dunn.

A memorial service will be held for his Illinois family and friends on Saturday, May 5 at 11 a.m. at The Rock Community Church in Fairfield.
