Fairfield native, Betty Hodge, 84, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 8: 45 A.M. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. Betty was a member of Logan Street Baptist Church. She was an avid quilter and was a member of Rend Lake Piece Makers.
She is survived by her 5 children, Jan Reeve and husband, Ed of Hyde Park, Utah, Cindy Dude and husband, Bob of Argyle, Texas, David Hodge and wife, Amy of Mahomet, Illinois, Julie Hodge of Savannah, Georgia, and Steve Hodge of Mount Vernon, Illinois; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 5 nieces; and 1 nephew also survive.
Funeral services for Betty Hodge will be 5 p.m. Saturday, June 2 at the Logan Street Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon.
Visitation will be from 3 – 5 on Saturday, June 2 at the Logan Street Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon.
Memorials: may be made to Logan Street Baptist Church Building Fund and will be accepted at the church or the Hughey Funeral Home of Mt. Vernon, which is in charge of all of the arrangements.
