Gary Eugene Clark – Formerly of McLeansboro

70-year-old former McLeansboro resident, Gary Eugene Clark of Katy, Texas died December 12, 2017 at his home in Texas. He worked as a photogrammetrist and Aerial Photographer for Sidwell Company. He worked with the Aero Service Division of Western Geophysical for 30 years, selling computer hardware, software and processing services used in oil exploration and production around the world.  He joined the U.S. Navy in January of 1966 and worked as a photo interpreter and learned mapmaking which later became part of his profession.  While in the Navy, he attended Photographic Intelligence “A” School, which was the start of his occupation in later years.

Survivors include his mother, Hazel Clark of McLeansboro; his wife of 41 years, Nancy Clark of Katy, TX; a daughter, Analisa McDermott and husband Matthew of Chicago; his first wife, Adela Rouse and husband Steve – mother of Analisa –  of Montgomery, TX; a step-son, Matt Ceaser of Spring, TX; a step-daughter, Jodi Ceaser of Spring, TX; and three grandchildren, Kevin, Jack and Nicole.

A memorial service for Gary Eugene Clark will be Sunday, June 24 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro for family and friends to attend.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the Harre Funeral Home of McLeansboro.

An internment of ashes will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery at McLeansboro with graveside military rites conducted by the American Legion Post 106 of McLeansboro and a U.S. Navy Honor Team.
