Steve H. Brooks, 61, of Fairfield, died at 6:00pm on Monday, June 18, 2018 in Ellery, Illinois. He was a truck driver during the summer for Wabash Valley FS in Fairfield. He also maintained the family farm.
Survivors include one son Steven (Jill) Brooks of Evansville, Indiana, one daughter Christon (Blake) Spurlock of Fairfield, five grandchildren Dokken Brooks, Mercedes Brooks, Kynlee Spurlock, Jessica Decker, and Kayla Knapp, three sisters LaDonna Robinson of Kansas, Brenda Breeze of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, and Ann Hoagland of Kentucky, and one brother-in-law Ronnie Newman.
Funeral services for Steve Brooks will be at 2pm on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield. Visitation will be from 12pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
After the services, Steve’s body will be cremated with no burial at this time.
The Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
