Barbara McClaskey, 69, of Vincennes, IN died on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at her residence.
She was born April 22, 1944 in Vincennes, to Philip James Chambers Sr., and Robertine Julia (Cardinal) Chambers.
Barbara worked at the Samaritan Center as a resident assistant and also had worked at Moore and Miller Drug Store for 26 years.
Surviving are her daughters, Tricia Purcell and her husband, Brian, of Vincennes, and Terry Jo Armstrong and her husband, Jeff, of Mount Vernon, Ill.; her brothers and sisters, Joann Marley and her husband, Joe, of Vincennes, Jeannie Peters and her husband, Buddy, of Vincennes, Philip Chambers and his wife, Marlene, of Vincennes, Jack Chambers and his wife, Marsha, of Bruceville, Peggy Roach and her husband, Donald, of Evansville, and Pam Catt and her husband, Chuck, of Vincennes; her grandchildren, Madison Purcell, Graham Purcell, Brady Armstrong, Josh Armstrong and Daymon Armstrong; along with several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Barbara McClaskey will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home in Vincennes, IN with burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
