July 18, 2014: A town-wide boil order has been issued for Mt. Erie. Residents should boil any water to be used for human consumption until further notice.
June 25, 2014: The boil order issued for customers in the Jasper Water District, specifically residents from county roads 2300E south of Rt. 161 to 2200E, and from 1680N to 1630N has been lifted.
ATTENTION: NEW HOPE WATER RESIDENTS
They are flushing water lines throughout the system, June 2nd through June 30th in the New Hope area. This is done each Spring and Fall to keep the system clean and to provide safe, pure water for your health and safety.
CHECK YOUR WATER BEFORE YOU USE IT
While flushing the water lines you may notice the water may be temporarily discolored due to the concentration of iron in the water. If your water is discolored, it does not mean it is unsafe to drink. While the flushing of the lines, we urge you to check for discoloration in your water before doing laundry or similar activities.
