73-year-old McLeansboro resident, Charles R. Miller, died at 7:23 p.m. Friday, August 23 at his home. He was a retired farmer, and a former member of the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors. He also served as a former Supervisor of Crook Township in Hamilton County.
Surviving are his wife Ladonna; three sons, Brad of McLeansboro, Bryan of Winchester, TN and Bruce of Centralia, IL; two daughters, Beverly Vaught of Carmi and Becky Cross of McLeansboro; one brother, Andrew of McLeansboro; one sister, Sue Patkes of Springfield, IL; his mother-in-law, Virginia Swafford of McLeansboro; and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services for Charles R. Miller will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 26 at St. Clements Catholic Church in McLeansboro. Burial will be in St. Clements Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, August 25 at St. Clements Catholic Church in McLeansboro.
Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of St. Mary’s Good Samaritan, and will be accepted at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
