Dallas Eugene White, 68, of Grayville, died Friday, July 11, 2014, at his home. His career was in the Unites States Armed Forces. He began his military service in the Army during the Vietnam War. Later, he served in the Navy on the USS Kitty Hawk during the Persian Gulf War. He spent time stationed in Spain serving in the weapons department. He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal among many others and was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann White of Grayville; sons Bradley (Rashell) Walsh of Hopkinsville, KY, Shawn White of Grayville, Curtis (Rebecca) White of Madisonville, KY; daughter Robin Walsh (Jon) Roberts of Grayville; brother Don White of Florida, and Tullis Alfred White of New York; sisters Alberta Lambert of Mt. Carmel, and Helen Koker of Hopkinsville; grandchildren Christian Thomas, Olivia White, Jessica Pearl Walsh, Bradley Robert Walsh.
Funeral services for Dallas Eugene White Will be 10 am, Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville with burial with military rites will be in Bethsaida Cemetery in Posey County, Indiana.
Visitation will be 5 – 7 Monday evening, July 14 at the Cook Chapel in Grayville.
