76-year-old Fairfield resident, formerly of Crossville, Donald Spicer, died Tuesday evening, February 25 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. He worked at the Crossville Phone Company and later worked part time at the New Harmony Bridge. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and Kings Chapel in Fairfield.
Surviving are his wife Mary; one son, Wayne (Lisa) Spicer of Crossville; three step-sons, Johnny (Kathy) Bramlett, Jason (Heather) Austin and Bryan Austin all of Fairfield; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Joe (Bonnie) Spicer of Fenton, MO.
Funeral services for Donald Spicer will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 1 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery at Fairfield.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 28 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi.
