42-year-old Fairfield resident, Donald Wayne Dunlap died at 1:07 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12 in the emergency room of Fairfield Memorial Hospital.  A U.S. Navy veteran of the Gulf War, he was a mechanic and horse handler.

Survivors include his parents, Ina and Ronald Dunlap of Fairfield; a son, Jackie Dunlap of Newton; a brother, Ronald Wayne Dunlap of Cisne; and brothers-in-law, James Hillyard of Fairfield and Frank Hillyard of Texas along with several nieces and nephews.

Services for Donald Wayne Dunlap will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15 at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in North Maple Ridge Cemetery at Carmi with military rites.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15 until the time of service at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
