88-year-old Fairfield resident, Glen A. Rickard died on Wednesday, July 17 at Way-Fair Restorium in Fairfield. A veteran of WW II, he operated Rickard’s Home Specialties for 21 years, then was a salesman for L.J. Keith, T.B.A. and Southern Lumber.
Survivors include his wife, Vonda Rickard; daughters, Glenna Monroe and Lyndal Hefley; four grandchildren, Robbie Monroe, Jamie Monroe, Elissa Eblin and Matthew Hefley; four great-grandchildren, Clayton, Madison, Emily and Joshua Monroe and several other nieces and nephews.
Services for Glen A. Rickard will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 21 at the First Baptist Church in Fairfield.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 Saturday evening, July 20 at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund and will be accepted at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
